Training Courses

Overview

Consilience believes that an appropriate investment in people is utterly critical for both governments and the private sector. We specialise in providing training in energy trading and related topics such as the regulatory regime, operational practices and financial security. We limit the number of attendees on our courses to allow us to concentrate on the specific needs of individual clients by combining lively courses with interactive work groups and case studies. We provide a safe learning environment where delegates can feel comfortable asking the detailed questions of concern to them.

The dates for the 2010 Emissions Trading course are:

Monday 28th June & Tuesday 29th June (new dates)

Thursday 11th November & Friday 12th November

The courses are delivered by Consilience personnel with guest expert speakers. Previous industry speakers have included the Carbon Neutral Company, DLA Piper, Ecosecurities, E3 CarbonSim, ICAP, IceCap, LEBA, Lovells, Natsource and Norton Rose. Day Two is delivered by Consilience and involves lectures and in-depth case studies, applying the data provided on Day One to practical examples. It also provides the opportunity to visit the ICAP trading floor.
